Spark Plugs
Spark plugs are located at the end of the spark plug wires, seated at the top of the cylinder head. When the piston moves up in the cylinder, it supplies a mixture of air and fuel. The spark plug ignites the mixture when the piston moves up. The spark plug is powerful enough to create and transmit an extremely high voltage strong enough to fire up your car engine. A bad spark plug will not ignite the car engine, meaning your car won't start or takes an extended time to start. Signs of spark plugs that need to be replaced include poor fuel economy, slow acceleration, engine misfiring, engine surge or hesitation and slow acceleration. Changing your spark plugs should be done as part of routine maintenance. Check your owner's manual for the recommendations to replace the spark plugs on your specific Jaguar model. If one spark plug needs to be replaced, it is recommended to replace them all at the same time.
